After I finished my practicum at a certain oil & gas company, their administrative assistant recommended me to Cari Chernichen. I submitted my resume to ABCanada Corp. and had an interview with Cari and Jim. They hired me! Cari told me that I had a number one fan and that fan mentioned to Cari things about me being an especially hard worker. Cari and Jim have seen that since day one at Alliance Borealis.
I have been a member of the Alliance Borealis team since 2011. My role in Customer Support and Corporate Administration requires multi-tasking, efficiency, patience, and attention to detail. I respond to various client requests, ranging from simple to complicated projects and tailor custom solutions. I also assist in research for monthly and quarterly updates, publish them, as well as set up new clients and create customizations for existing clients.
The role of Corporate Administration requires me to be accurate and knowledgeable in our clients’ accounts. My responsibilities include accounts receivables, monthly invoices for clients, reviewing of overdue accounts, bank reconciliation, and posting expenses.
I graduated from Adamson University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a Major in Management. During my college years, I served as a student assistant at St. Catherine De Laboure’. I worked in various positions from sales clerk to office clerk. I also worked as a Sales Representative for a timeshare, a Vault Keeper/ Assistant Manager in a Pawnshop, owned a small pizza store and as a caregiver for children with special needs.
I furthered my education and knowledge through courses and training at the Calgary Immigrant Educational Society (CIES) and the University of Calgary Continuing Education programs. One of my CIES instructors described me as a determined, dedicated, and smart person with a positive attitude and sunny disposition. In terms of work, one of my previous employers noted that my commitment to the job is exceptional and easily surpasses others. My dedication, honesty, and commitment is second to none. Alliance Borealis feels the same way.
One of my favorite bits of feedback from a customer said “Thank you so much for all the time you have spent on both the phone and email, putting together documentation for my information. If I were your supervisor, I would want an office filled with personnel of your caliber”.
Customer service is an integral part of ABCanada Corp. I ensure that quality and service exceed customer expectations. I strive to build trust and strong, long-term relationships with ABCanada customers.
